Chapter 3 Over the bounty line

Strange, my banangos hadn’t gotten rotten after the six days of my journey, they would normally in two. I ate them anyway. It did nothing, but it got me some room for other items. It must have saved me from starvation though, so that’s good. Going through the damp cave made me think back at Heaven’s Gate. How did the demons penetrate the portal? They must be under someone’s command, but who’s? No matter. I should only care about the mission.  I stopped in my tracks when I heard a twig snap. I turned. It was a Hobgoblin. Hobgoblins were little brats. They would constantly slam you with hammers until you get really pissed and start stabbing them until you hit their heart. Yes, very irritating. I slowly walked towards it, Zeikex out, blooded and glowing. The Hobgoblin flinched. After a while, it came to its senses and made quite a loud wolf whistle. Suddenly, thousands of the tiny brats started swinging on vines and clonking me on the head. I was not amused, but they were. They were laughing like insane monkeys. After about two minutes of this infuriating torture, I had reached my limit of patience.

I stood up straight, stared at my blade and stabbed it into the ground. The cracks around the impact zone begun to glow, all the attacking Hobgoblins flinched in fear and a faint humming sound came from the ground. I shut my eyes. This was my overdrive, Death Sentence.
Of course it was only level one, but it was enough for these swine. Suddenly, a brilliant grey light appeared on my blade. My eyes opened, and I tugged it out the hole. In an instant, fantastic beams was blasted out the hole of with my blade arose. They blasted the Demons at the speed of sound. Then, in one fatal swing of Zeikex, all the Hobgoblins were asleep, permanently. This was a giant waste of time, so I flew at tremendous speed towards Yggdrasil. At last, I had reached the bounty line between Elendia and Yggdrasil. This would be one of the greatest stops on my journey. So I rested there for a while; then woke up four days later. Only to find I had been badly injured.

God damn Demons.
